Our friendship began in the heart of our community at Poe Elementary School, where our daughters first crossed paths. Over the years, our connection grew stronger as we navigated the busy lives of our families. Val has lived in the neighborhood for 30 years since attending Rice University, and Jac — a Houston native — attended the University of St. Thomas. Both of us work in healthcare and strive to keep up with our children's ever-busy schedules.
Our journey towards taking over at Graustark Laundry began with a simple, yet eye-opening conversation between us about the challenges we faced when managing our own laundry needs. We decided to come together to make a difference by ensuring that Graustark Laundry provides more than just a place to clean clothes — we aim to offer a solution that supports community members and their families in their busy lives.
